What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
Do you take insurance?
I do not accept any forms of insurance at Columbus Nutrition Counseling in order to keep out of pocket costs as low as possible for people who might not otherwise be able to afford care.
However, if you have an insurance plan through Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield/Anthem, Cigna, or United Health Care I would be happy to see you through another practice that does accept insurance. Contact me and I will help you get started.
What if I can’t afford these rates?
Please reach out anyway and I will do my best to connect you with another RD who might meet your needs or explore other options.
What if I can’t attend a scheduled appointment?
If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please call or email to cancel the day prior to your appointment. You will be charged the full appointment fee for same day cancelations or missed appointments.
Are your appointments virtual or in person?
Columbus Nutrition Counseling is a 100% virtual practice as of March 2020.
Do you specialize in a particular area of nutrition? Will you see clients that have other issues or concerns?
My main area of focus is eating disorders, however you do not need to have an eating disorder to be seen at Columbus Nutrition Counseling. I have worked with clients on general health improvement, weight loss/weight gain, improving athletic performance, eating disorders or disordered eating, and management of various diseases such as cancer and diabetes. If you have questions about whether this is the right place for you, please call 614-349-1470 or email ColumbusNutritionCounseling@gmail.com and I would be happy to speak with you about finding the right fit for your nutrition needs.
What age groups do you work with?
I work with adults age 18+.
